MediaMath’s VP of Engineering Edward Fagin will be presenting “Breaking the logjam: From batch to streaming,” a case study of how MediaMath, a digital marketing technology platform, was able to transform its pace of innovation by embracing a stream processing architecture for its data pipeline.

MediaMath’s NYC office will be hosting the NYC Data Rave meetup with guest speaker Devon McCormick, who will be presenting “Working with Large Covariance Matrixes,” a technical lecture on data analysis using the “beautiful and arcane” J language.

Meetup: Chicago Area Scala Enthusiasts
Chicago, IL
MediaMath’s Chicago office will be hosting the Chicago Scala Area Enthusiasts meetup. MediaMath’s Senior Software Engineer Owein Reese will be presenting “Introduction to dependent types in Scala,” a technical lecture on the techniques and tricks for incorporating dependent types in your own Scala code.

Technical Brand Manager Jessica is the Technical Brand Manager at MediaMath, where she is building MediaMath’s engineering messaging and sharing it with the world. She is obsessed with translating technical stories into accessible language, and has led a similar efforts at other tech companies. She earned a BA in Anthropology and a BS in Journalism from Boston University.
